I got an email from Mike B., the bass is on the way!!!!!!  I'm reimbursing him for shipping.  I will have to drop a check in the mail ASAP.  And....I need to get working on his painting.  I'm waiting to hear back from him on if he has a color preference.  I want to make sure it will go with his decor!  I should have the bass in my hands next Monday ( Read more... )

 So my friend Mike (who's send me the bass) scanned these old pics of me, and emailed them to me yesterday.  One is of me rockin' out on my bass at my music tech graduation, and the other is a pic my friend Nate took of me when I was in High School and had my first bass guitar.  (Not a flattering pic)

A reconnected with an old aquaintence on Myspace a while back.  And he sent out a post with him playing one of his dad's guitars, that he MADE!  I said that was awesome, and asked for his email, because I was also close with his dad, wanted to reconnect, as well, as ask about having a bass built for me.
